Libby Clegg announced as ambassador for Royal Blind

07 10 2013

Paralympic silver medallist Libby Clegg has been announced as brand ambassador for charity Royal Blind, which provides accessible reading materials to visually impaired people and runs The Royal Blind School.

Clegg, who won silver medals at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Paralympics in the T12 200m, has Stargardt's Macular Dystrophy disease and is registered as blind. She said 'If it wasn't for the Royal Blind School I don't think I'd be the person I am now. The school has taught me so much and the staff did so much more than teach me'.
